The Rio Verde river flows into the La Concepcion Lake, placed in the vicinity of the village of Istan. This lake provides drinkable water to the people living in Marbella and its area, which tells a lot about its quality.

This gorgeous and very quiet place is well suited for outdoor activities and events. A day at the lake can include lake tours in gondolas, fun sports such as canoeing, aquaskipping, safari 4x4 etc...
